After 2 hours of examination, on the ground and aloft, exhausted Maurice is handed back a much appreciated 'de brief' and a Renewal Stamp in his flying log book!

It was 31 years ago when Maurice last flew a PA 28 Cherokee 'spam can' on a similar GFT, General Flight Test, but that was at Oxford for his UK Commercial Licence.

This means the stranded yellow Cub in Texas, subject to CAA Head Office immediately lifting the suspension, can be flown on to the Amazon, Agentina and Falklands this autumn if kind President Bush grants Maurice a Visitor's Visa?

 Kirstie is likely to find, in a few days, another little J3 L4 1943 D-Day Piper Cub tucked up in her stable ( MY HANGAR) here at St Donats International Airport being hastily prepared for flight to Cape Town or will it be Mount Everest? 

Meanwhile, in order to pay mounting bills, eBay recieves Maurice's first of many aircraft,engines and 40 propellors to sell off! 

I have today received a Refusal by the Royal Courts of Justice  to interfere with the CAA's decision to suspend my flying licences, months ago, just because the US Department of Homeland Security  told the CAA  I had landed on President Bush's front lawn and was ‘engaged in criminal activity' while both the FAA , local newspaper and McClellan County Sheriff say did not happen.

I enclose for my reader(s) an extract of the judgment to be appealed, the common theme, incidentally, relied on by not just by the RCVS, South Wales Police and Crown Prosecution Service but now the CAA

Why?  To deliberately withhold disclosure of favourable evidence because each HM department is immune to prosecution under the seriously out dated and outrageous contradiction in terms to to Basic Human Rights, namely ‘Her Majesty's Royal Prerogative'.

‘Observations'

The wide ranging nature of article 27(1) (b) of the Air Navigation Order and of the discretion to suspend granted by Article 92(1) of the ANO is more than ample to confer jurisdiction the CAA to as it has done.

No error in law or other arguable basis for challenging the decision to suspend the applicant's private pilot's licence is disclosed by the application.

Bankruptcies Used As Weapons Of Terror By Solicitors!

Demonstration on 22 July 2008, against unscrupulous solicitors and the failure of the self-regulatory system to control them.  The Law Society has not taken the complaints of many solicitors' clients seriously eg 4 separate complaints against one firm of solicitors and still it is not enough for the Law Society to strike them off.
 
Demonstration starts 9.00 am on the 22nd July outside the Central London County Court and at 9.00 am at Brentford County Court. The group at Brentford County Court will join those at the Central London County Court at 11.00am. The whole demonstration will go by car and bus to Gloucester Place.  From there, we will go to the Royal Courts of Justice.  We will walk to The Law Society in Chancery Lane. 

From there we will make our way to Parliament.  At 2pm committee room no 6 has been booked so MPs can address the demonstration.  After the meeting in Parliament the demonstration will move on to the Ministry of Justice, Victoria.  At the same time a delegation of 5 members will go to 10 Downing Street to hand in a petition.

The demonstration will be attended by a few Members of Parliament, and Casia (Complaints Against Solicitors action for Independent Adjudication), SACL (Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers), Unjustis, and Liberty will be represented.

At the last moment, with Maurice refused re entry into USA and CAA having suspended all his pilots licences, the US media gallop over the hill, all guns blazing, to his rescue.

   I returned to San Diego from Lock Haven on June 26th. I had been looking forward to seeing you (and your hat) there, but I guess that our Nazi's wouldn't let you in. Too bad.

   What is you current status with our people?   Will you ever be able to

get back into the states? The number of airplanes there didn't seem as large this year. Don't know if that was caused by fuel prices or the low ceilings that we had for the first couple of days.

    Did you ever recover your camera and GPS? I would have thought that whoever took you off would have been responsible for securing your property. Whatever happened to you Cub?  After I send this I will go to your web site and see if the answers are there.

Dear Len, aviator, bon viveur and overweight,

I tried to get to the annual Lock Haven Piper Cub gathering but the US Authorities just put me back on the aircraft at Detroit for London.

CAA have suspended my licences having been told by the US I was 'engaged in criminal activity’! FAA confirm I committed no offence landing in a huge field, 5 miles from President Bush's Texas ranch in a torrential thunder storm.

Cub is sold to Alvin and re registered so they cannot use that against me. [Suggested I impersonated a US citizen in order to buy the cub in Daytona Beach!]. Agreement to buy back if I get a US visa ......will visit you, if I do, before flying to Falklands and Alaska for my floats across Canada.

Please ask mates to read www.kirkflyingvet.com for updates and may be invite me to give talks across US with ones already booked. I will send the Piper Cub petition to President Bush, Department of Homeland Security and Her Majesty The Queen, if need be,  to get to California!

It was while I was being interrogated in the police station for the 3^rd time by the Secret Service before being led off in leg irons to your ‘sausage machine’ for deportees.

Dear Editor,

I am writing to explain my decision to stand as an Independent candidate in the Haltemprice & Howden by-election.

As a former Conservative M.P. who rebelled against the Maastricht Treaty under John Major's government, I am appalled by the failure of all the major political parties, despite low election turnouts, to heed the growing cynicism and strong Euroscepticism of large parts of the electorate.

I am particularly incensed by the Government's decision to ignore the veto exercised by the Irish people and press ahead with the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty, even though under E.U. rules, the process is supposed to fail if any one country rejects the Treaty. The arrogance of the French, German and British Governments in expecting the Irish Government to sort the problem out, rather than accepting the verdict of the only nation to have consulted its own people, is appalling. Which part of the word "NO" do the Prime Minister and his colleagues fail to understand?

I believe that the Rt. Hon. David Davis is right to be concerned about the erosion of civil liberties, but has chosen entirely the wrong target. Although as a lawyer, I am naturally concerned about the length of time which suspects can spend in custody without being charged, I am much more worried about protecting the public from terrorist outrages. I am perfectly happy to see CCTV in our city centres, and successfully campaigned for their introduction in Barry when I represented the Vale of Glamorgan. People who do not commit crimes have little to fear from cameras, and it is up to central and local government to ensure that the images collected are used to help catch criminals and not for any other purpose.

Mr. Davis seems to have missed the real culprits in removing our liberties; the  politically unaccountable European Commission, the Council of Ministers and the European Court of Justice are eroding our rights every day. Over seventy percent  of our new legislation is coming from Brussels. Our  Parliament is powerless to control or repeal European legislation. After nearly a thousand years during which English common law held sway, our Courts have to recognise that in the event of any conflict, European law prevails. We now have the freedom to do what Brussels allows, instead of having the freedom to do anything not specifically banned by our own Parliament. Mr. Davis and others need to wake up, and stand up for the freedoms of law abiding people who want to restore our national sovereignty before it is too late.

If I am elected, I promise to campaign at every opportunity for a referendum on whether we should continue as an increasingly subservient and servile part of the European Union, or cast off our shackles and become a free and independent nation state. I would call for the referendum campaign to be fairly funded, with no tax payers' money to be spent on distorting the outcome.

M is feeling much better and has sped off to Brittany on his motorbike. Or that was the unlikely story which went along the lines of: need to sort out accounts, the garden the cottage etc., etc.

M obviously became bored v quickly as accounts, gardening, sorting out the cottage are not really his things and so it was no surprise to learn that he is now actually in the south, enjoying weather (good), food (v good), wine (even better). He sounds quite cheerful when we speak via telephone.

So many people ask me why I don't seem to mind his taking so many holidays, enjoying so many trips..

Suffice to say that while the cat is away this time, Gen and I have found her a new pony and M is too far away to object or censor. She will be installed by his return and, as he can't now fly over our fields to do a head count, he won't even know that she's here (until we choose a suitable moment to tell him).  My mare has gone away to stud and Morgan's horse will be in the stable just starting work (which means that M's car will be out of the stable).

15 years ago I started a civil litgation action for harassment following conduct by the local police including jailing me on an almost weekly basis. To date they have lost 121 criminal charges and won 9. These they served on the RCVS in 2000, the police also giving them access to confidential files in both Cardiff and Barry police stations.

It is of particular interest for our family that it has taken the USA to cause the CAA to face proper 'disclosure', now implicating the South Wales Police, who are behind just why I was deported and earlier struck off the register for life as a veterinary surgeon.

The attached file is just an an indication to the uninitiated of  the lengths to which these faceless people will go just for vengence, all at the tax payer's expense.

I will be publishing on this blog the 'blow by blow' account of my fight to regain my flying licence and posting the 'heavy' documents such as correspondence, newspaper accounts and the evidence within the downloads section of the site (see the link on the main menu above).

It is my submission, today, that the CAA Licencing Department have been given significantly contradictory and erroneous information from the USA.

The FAA have confirmed, more than once, that I had committed no US aviation offence by landing in a field at Crawford, Texas and other US Authorities have knowingly engaged in nefarious conduct so as to have me re arrested, a week later, purely on a pretext to have me deported. This is clearly indicated in the papers so far released to the CAA some of which, but not all, have been disclosed to me.

What is significantly disturbing in all this was being refused the right to a 'caution', the right to 'make a statement' and to have an independent medical examination throughout my three weeks in custody. My 10 days in solitary confinement without any access to telephone, to inform my family where I was, create or receive mail, use my $4000, have visitors, contact the British Embassy, have legal representation or independent medical examination at my expense, is fact. The deliberate policy of 'minimum audit trail' from the moment guns were pointed at my head leaves me in further difficulties with the CAA who may decide to act only on what they are given.

This fear is real, owing to the 'huge assumptions' revealed in the numerous, yet to be published, CAA memos by the Licencing Department, so far released to me when I know the Royal Courts of Justice will conduct their 'responsibilities', in my lodged Judicial Review Application, in a manner to which both I and many, many others have been so accustomed.

The US Department of Homeland Security, created post 9/11, blocked almost all media coverage in the US, refused to submit any documentary evidence to support their allegations for my removal from the US, now needed for the CAA and the Royal Courts of Justice, on the repetitive argument that -

"NO DHS detained British holiday-maker on a 'Waiver Visa' into USA is allowed access to legal redress as agreed by Her Majesty's  UK Government".

On landing at London Airport on 16th May from Huston, Texas, under escort by US Homeland Security officials, I went straight to the the Civil Aviation Authority to find out why they had suspended my flying licences? CAA information disclosed only that I had landed on a road outside Mr Bush's front door.

The Federal Aviation Authority telephoned me whilst I was still in Texas. I was about to fly her away from the Secret Service at Crawford, miles from President Bush's ranch, where they had kindly been guarding the Cub until my return from Austin State Hospital. I flew her out unsupervised.

The FAA clearly stated I had committed no US aviation offence by landing the aircaft in the farmer's field. I asked for all documentation from the US authorities sent to the CAA,  justifying their action to ground me. These 6 pages were faxed to me and attached to my Emergency Judicial Review Application lodged this last Friday 23rd May 2008, at the Royal Courts of Justice for their Lordship's deliberations.

Today, Tuesday the 27th May 2008, the CAA now say they have 30 odd more pages from the US - for publication on this site later.
