Well, I promised Sir Edmund Hilary, with tongue in cheek, that, on my next trip, I would fly up the mountain and say, Hi!
G-KIRK's ceiling over Arabia was 12,500ft and that took one hour forty five minutes of hanging on the prop! To get to mount Everest will be via South Africa, unless I get lost.
