I have just been released from Cardiff prison

My cell window on 'lifer's E Wing

for a day or two, at least and am about to drag out of the shed another one of my an old WW2 D-Day Piper Cubs, hopefully, for winning your King's Cup race over my beloved Alderney where I practiced as a veterinary surgeon in the 80s.

The old gal looks tired, like me but remarkably similar, bar one digit, to my dearly missed 'Liberty Girl' sadly left behind miles below the Caribbean.

I need to get her stable mate, I suppose, 'certified to fly' this time and she has not even 'broken the bonds of Earth' for at least 20 odd years.

I have a small problem over current bail restrictions which prevent my landing on Alderney because I had applied for asylum there when seeking protection from the South Wales Police. See u tube clips on home page.

Also the South Wales Police appear to have my passport, HM prison hold my legal papers, for appeal and so, coupled with the fact the Crown Prosecution Service (Wales) are also 'burning the mid night oil' in finding ways of having me again sectioned under the 1983 Mental Health Act, I now await a psychiatric report and brain scan. Before I fly, as I have been diagnosed with ‘significant brain damage’ possibly , the CPS, told the Crown Court, cancer and the lawyer must be right as he is now a Cardiff judge and may be trying my jury trial booked for November. (Not, this time, for ’trading in machine guns’ bolted to a replica DH2 1916 biplane).

Do I, in the circumstances, qualify for any special handicap or get a couple of hundreds yard start?

If the flight organisers have any influence in Guernsey, maybe, to 'grease the wheels of officialdom' or can put the word about so I can flog, in time, a couple of my cubs, Pacer or Taylorcraft, then my chances of financing another win in an air race is considered almost 'in the bag'.

Despite getting from West Wales to Sydney Harbour Bridge first, on a 'test flight', the last time I seriously raced, I was not even allowed to loop the ‘coat hanger’ bridge but received a magnificent pair of Aussie made boots, instead, from Prime Minister, Mr John Howard!

Following fabricated evidence, last summer, put in a 'victim' statement to South Wales Police, it appears the GMC have, at last, decided to act on both this aborted trial by jury 'stitch-up' and why the police had painted the machine gun a different colour to try and fool the 2010 jury...........I, for one, am not holding my breath as 'devil worship' is the dominating influence in both South Wales courts and UK police stations.

Professor Rodger Wood of Swansea University, great masonic friend of a certain psychiatrist, examined me in Caswell Clinic for nearly an hour. With, I must say, Ruth Bagshaw, the latter, I suspect, having none of his 'mumbo jumbo' that I had 'significant brain damage' because (quote from his well paid/ Caswell Clinic concocted 2009 report to get me to Ashworth for life) writing:

3. I had flown the same aircraft to Darwin (to beat Amy's, circa 1932, 19 day record) and Sydney Harbour Bridge (to loop) from West Wales without a map!....Dr Bagshaw was a witness , remember. And, remember I am still registered as a 'mental patient' despite refusing medication (food and liquids brought into Caswell almost every day by very loving wife) ......if only the sheeple 'knew what really goes on in our courts'... But there's hope: Sir James Munby, the President of the Family Division, calls for courts to adapt to the realities of the internet! 1. Please confirm hearing is on the 17th of this month at Cardiff Magistrates as I need copy of the 14th November 20 Court Order issued to the magistrates by HHJ Llewellyn Jones QC, currently refused me, before I can defend it.

I had in prison a CPS letter dated 28th August over some suggestion I might agree with the case going to Crown instead. Some time period was given to me but I cannot remember what it was? This is not my current view but without proper disclosure of all correspondence, sent to me by e-mail and CCTV of the five police incidents just where is this case going?

2. On 2nd Sept 13 the prison confiscated all my legal papers and clothes with it being the day of my release. I was refused access to my own 'high risk' category cell to even pack them up in some orderly manner. Can you send me copy please, of anything you may have sent since 30th January 2013? Thankyou

3. Can one of the Cardiff courts, please, hand down an Order to get my papers back from the prison for the 17th hearing as, without, I am unable to take advice?

4. In prison I was refused carbon paper (removed from incoming post) so please return copy of my letters to your courts and applications, in order to take advice...thanky0u

5. Last year on a longer prison sentence, whilst un-convicted, with all charges eventually dropped, I was promised the police depositions, including the doctors' statements I had harassed them both at home. I continue being refused by CPS....Can any court order them is it relates to the 17th September 13 magistrates hearing?

6. Now I am told, having telephoned Caswell Clinic as their registered mental patient, the two psychiatrists are suspended....is that true?

7. Not just one but both doctors and each on one year joint £300,000 tax payer paid sick leave salary. AND that is not allowing for their joint income on the private psychiatric work they continue to do. Sickness is recorded as being due to my purported home visit when the police 'moved me on'.....I have no idea where they live nor any desire to know.

. The clinic promised to telephone me back but have not over the doctor who authorised my August 2009 brain scan revealing, unless miraculously cured by prison food, my 'significant brain damage and possible cancer. THE CPS told the Crown Court all this just to block my bail in 2009 for nearly 8 months so how can I be now eligible for bail or fit to defend this case in England without another brain scan, this time using the correct procedure?

Without clarification of the above issues the Bristol CPS, again, just like last time these judicial Cardiff games were played over an alleged 'common assault' allegation, will remain in some difficulties and so not oppose my appeal. A most unsatisfactory way of dishing out so called justice when the conspiracy cover up by failed disclosure wins the day.

7. In the five weeks of my recent incarceration I have asked all three courts for information and Crown Prosecution Service for disclosure disclosure of evidence under their control. None of my letters had achieved a reply from any one department within Cardiff.

WHAT SPARKED OFF LATEST SOUTH WALES POLICE GAMES

Luigi Stranati , HM South Wales Director of all courts, calls for police to block my getting Criminal Court of Appeal and Legal Aid forms, with the hope I can appeal this latest preposterous nonsense designed, yet again, in blocking my swift determination of all my remaining civil actions. I am escorted from building immediately after being stopped from taking legal advise with a lawer.

I managed, just in time, to get Sue, in the office, to at least hand over copies of my unanswered prison letters before I am evicted. The time before, when there over appeal matters, I was violently pushed down the stairs, on a walking stick, causing ex policeman derrick Hassan to break my leg but that is just one of 50 odd complaints, in the past 20 years South Wales Police have refused to investigate.

This is a marvellous post, as it shows the poster that Maurice used when he stood for election in Guernsey some 20 years ago. He nearly made it to make a difference on that tax heaven!

It is blindingly obvious that the reason they will not produce your medical records is that you do not have a brain tumour, & never did have: That it was a complete fiction by that evil man 'Doctor' Tegwyn Williams to give an excuse to lock you away for life, at the behest of then Ch. Constable Barabara Wilding who, as Chairwoman of a Big Lottery Fund, was able to hand out large sums of money to Williams. In Cardiff Crown Court on October 1st 2009 I stood up & likened him to the Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele. That is NOT an exaggeration. Nobel Laureate Solzhenitsyn said "To put a sane person in a madhouse (his word) is worse than the gas chamber: the torture is more cruel, death takes longer". So it was for Andy McCardle.

Please forgive me if I now mention my own case, but it IS relevant. After four years in prison for a NON-EXISTENT 'crime', I had 'paid my debt to society' & was due to walk free. Instead I was unlawfully carted off to Newton Lodge Gulag 'Hospital', Wakefield, a most evil place. When I asked the Home Office by what authority I was taken there, they said 'Two Doctors' had said I was suffering from some (un-named) 'mental illness'.

For more than five years I have been asking for the names of those doctors, but without success. Nor have I been allowed to see my medical records during that time, in spite of many requests. The reason is of course, the 'two doctors' do not exist. There are in fact THREE doctors who DO exist, all of whom said I was NOT suffering from any mental illness!

Tegwyn Williams could not take action against me for what I said in Cardiff Crown Court, but he can now that I have repeated it outside. He can either sue for defamation, or apply for an injunction to stop me repeating it. I invite him to do so. To their shame, the GMC are as bad as Williams, protecting the evil ones among them, just as they did with Harold Shipman.

Former Channel Island resident, flying vet Maurice Kirk - who once dressed up as Nazi for a court appearance and tried to fly out of Guernsey in the name of Rudolf Hess - is seeking asylum in Alderney.

Mr Kirk has written to the States claiming Welsh police want to kill him. He lived in the islands during the 1980s and calls Alderney the 'centre of the universe'.

He's had a long run-in with authorities, including being admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Texas after trying to land a plane at president George Bush's ranch.

Maurice, a Drug Smuggler?

Any ordinary observer, recently passing through Merdrignac, a small town in Brittany, may well have been mistaken on seeing two 'out of town' gentlemen seated facing a clearly tired, unshaven and worried old man on sticks. Was this Maurice, clearly under intense interrogation? Yes. Was he in trouble again, ‘Code Napoleon’ style? No.

Their persistent questioning was to establish just why this clearly extreme and never ending oppression by three British police forces, one after the other, had gone on now for nearly 40 years.

'Authority', it seemed, was intent in blocking Maurice's 'ease of travel', especially when there appeared a history of crossing country borders by less conventional methods, other than public transport.

Maurice believed it came from an edict handed down, 'in a fit pique', following an unfortunate incident in Taunton Police Station, far back in 70's. A high official, from within that dubious cabal called freemasonry, having first mislaid his Chief Superintendant's pocket note book, his day job. He may well have been the one who made that simple telephone call to trigger so much trouble for Maurice and his family.

Maurice’s way of life was soon ransacked by a particularly vindictive man from Cardiff, a Mr M R Jones of HM Customs and Excise Drug Squad. He led a search team through his home, garden, hangars and aircraft. He took away papers from the safe, one a letter from the Civil Aviation Authority, addressed to the Taunton police, rebuking them for their part in interfering with an Englishman simply going about his lawful business even if it was in some WW2 tired Auster aircaft, tied up with binder twine, flying between his farmer clients.

Then HM Customs and Excise Drug Squad really spent the money, in force, sending agents all over Western Europe interrogating anyone with whom he had done business with, importing derelict or ‘just about flying’ old aeroplanes. Jones had Maurice on remand in a number of UK HM prisons before all allegations, of suspected drug smuggling, were dropped.

Following his Breton interrogation, Maurice reluctantly concluded that, maybe, it was his history and general way of life that had first attracted authority’s attention, as it left an unusual pattern on the Police National Computer, PNC, for others to read years later. What the police call, a ‘modus operandi’ of a known villain. This, coupled together with the fact his high percentage of 'wins' in police courts and the way dubious charges were so often ridiculed, meant any unscrupulous police officer, of any rank, might well have been tempted to act incorrectly for his or her own personal gain.

People in ‘positions of authority’ are too easily angered, these days, if they perceive a ‘loss of control’ over someone within their own remit of work. Was it as simple as that?

What was plainly obvious to Maurice’s interrogators and confirmed recently, upon the conclusions of a medical examination by a doctor specialising in such matters, Maurice’s past history, of using unconventional transport to go about his veterinary business, was most likely, the key.

Resorting to such methods as flying old aeroplanes, when banned from driving, riding very fast motor bikes on foreign number plates, battling with seas in a sophisticated rigid inflatable for commuting,between both Guernsey and Alderney, in the Channel Islands, all year, sometimes in extreme weather conditions, are some examples but it was already ‘pouring fat on a roaring fire’.

"His disrespect for authority", came back the reply from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon’s Queen’s Counsel, in 2004, at the HM Privy Council Downing Street court hearing, following Lord Hoffman’s query as to, "why such apparent ‘trivial’ motoring offences" had been relied upon, in the lower court, to have Maurice’s name being removed from the veterinary register, for life?.

A chronology of events is to indicate, perhaps, just why the three police forces, Avon and Somerset, Guernsey and now South Wales, have all acted in such an extreme manner but it does not excuse any one of them from acting outside the rule of law.

1963. Maurice, after a brief visit to Czechoslovakia, very wet and worried, was seen by Austrian police clambering out of the water and running for his life up and over their river bank ,to hide behind a tree, as a Khrushchev controlled gun boat came charging down on him. He had just been washed into the full view of a machine gun post perched high up on top of a tower, on the other side. He had to swim back, in daylight but not at the pre-arranged ‘blind spot’ he had planned, along the hundreds of miles of the Iron Curtain. After his negotiating a heavily mined and recently dug up river bank, to detect foot prints, much barbed wire and live ammunition his hostile reception committee was but ‘small bear’.

He had, that week, paddled from Innsbruck, Austria, in his WW2 fragile, now, £6 folding canoe, to Passau, Germany, forgetting the finer points of crossing border etiquette. If it had not been for the night before, in some ancient Austrian police cell, down river, 'after casing the joint'', the brandishing gunned Austrian police would, no doubt, have taken a little longer view before finally releasing him.

1964. Maurice standing beside his home made wood and canvas canoe, pulled up on a Dover beach, was seen trying to persuade two, not so believing, bemused HM Customs Officers, that he had just paddled in from Calais, France, again forgetting French Customs rig marrolle, before his departure across the English Channel with only a crumpled brown 10 shilling note to his name.

That same summer he had already hitch hiked from New York to LA to Vancouver, Canada to Quebec and back for two nights, under a tree, in Central Park, on just £5. Ten Coca Cola bottles, picked up on the road side, bought food even if was a thoroughly tasteless loaf of soda bread.

1967. Maurice hitched over 5000 miles in Australia, living on Mount Kosciusko in his built igloo, around both North and South Islands of New Zealand before hiking the jungles of New Guinea from way North of Goroka down to Lae. A one-way half price student ticket, bought in Alice Springs for Ayers Rock, in another old Auster, to then walk on out, bound for Tasmania, was a ‘first’ he was told.

1969 to date. Maurice would never dream of landing at an airfield if he could possibly avoid it. As his father and oldest brother, Michael, always agreed, it was the most anti-social place for a private owner ever to find himself.

It usually meant:

First one had to get permission, with interminable delay and carry a licence and even a map.
No damned good, if your aircraft had no radio or there was more than one cloud in the sky.
Wearing one’s expensive tyres out on tarmac and then made to taxi miles to park, far from ones waiting friends at the airport bar.
Walking in the rain, so often, just to pay a fine at some way off control tower with an outside ladder!
Then have to get permission to leave and wait and wait, engine running, for other aircraft to land and take off.
But to cap it all, if she needed ‘go juice’, ‘motion lotion’, again one had to wait for it and have the ready currency, only to be charged ‘through the nose’ for it.

1969. Maurice, in a rented French Rallye Club ‘span can’, remembers taking a girlfriend and flat mate to Ireland, via South Wales, only to have argument over the multiple damaging ‘bird strike’ with an unyielding Swansea Air Traffic controller as to who was responsible for obstructions on the active runway!

1970. Maurice is hitch hiking, only in his wet suit and red bobble cap with a large whole leg of ham slung over his shoulder. His fastest single-sailer of its day, a Unicorn catamaran, left becalmed in Lyme Regis harbour, meant he had some sixteen miles to walk back to his job, in Bridport. He takes a lift but an austere black brief case on the back seat, bearing a gold portcullis insignia with ‘HM’ on top, dampened his enjoyment of his day. He is offered, by the smartly suited gentleman, his business card as he was investigating a ‘sighting’ of someone in the locality hawking, out of plastic black bags , around the pubs, export only King Size No 6 cigarettes and one litre bottles of Stand Fast Whisky, they do not roll around and break, for half UK prices. Maurice did not see him again.

1970. Maurice, with precious spare time on a week end off, would often fly, in the depths of winter, in his 50s wooden aeroplane, a French Sipa 901, fully aerobatic rumour had it, to Southern Ireland.

Flights to Donegal, Eire, for a week end’s duck shooting, meant it was inconvenient to fly in the wrong direction to Bristol or Exeter, just too clear Customs. Nor did landing at Dublin exactly guarantee a quick turn round to reach his brother, before dark, on a deserted beach near Burton Port.

Maurice seriously went wrong, on one occasion, during one of his hunting trips, 8 bore ,12 bore shot guns, rifle and faithful gun dog by his side, all stuffed in with a spare fuel can. Talbenny Airfield, West Wales, a WW2 derelict fighter base, had been chosen to ‘top up’. A pot hole on the runway, on his return from Eire, with passenger, meant Police and Customs and tracker dogs later found a deserted Sipa tied to a gate post. Sightings of a couple, with a large suitcase, hitching their way towards Somerset only caused more trouble. The fifteen pound fine that followed gave no indication of what was yet to come, where authorities were concerned.

Maurice did try Cardiff, almost on route to Dublin, later, in the mid 70s but that was a right catastrophe with South Wales Police arresting him on some trumped up ‘public order’ offence, only for him to win it in a newly built magistrates building in town nearby, called Barry. The clear hatred in the prosecutor’s eye, as he left the court room, caused Maurice to try and avoid Cardiff airport in the future.

1973. As day light was short, in order to get to the Ennislkillen Harriers Hunt Ball, Northern Ireland, in his AOP 6 WW2 Auster and flight duck at five on the following morning, landing at believed deserted Haverford West aerodrome, to ‘top up’ from a jerry can, in the back, proved yet another welsh mistake. South Wales Police demanded Customs clearance to Northern Ireland. Maurice waits for no Customs, he bluntly reminded them, IRA villains will never beat us. They refused to remove their police vehicle from his proposed flight path. The rumours of his crushing the police car roof in with his port strut, on takeoff, only to be then buzzed, at very low level in semi darkness, twenty minutes later, by a hurriedly scrambled Hawker Hunter jet, out RAF Brawdy, nearby, may not have enhanced Maurice’s future prospects in the Principality.

1977. Maurice then flew to the Isle of Man for the motor bike races. On the way back he cleared Customs at Swansea, another big mistake. South Wales police set about, in the teaming rain, to make him unload seven big boxes of Manx kippers and the island’s other delicacy, ‘Queenies’, only to start putting screw drivers to his engine and fuselage covers. Threats and the language that followed with Maurice demanding production of their aircraft engineer certification was also, possibly, not helpful.

Taunton Chief Superintendant’s note book now goes ‘missing’, seventy-two charges soon accumulate with violent arrests and police losing fifty-six ignominiously, in a string of both sick and hilarious magistrate and Crown Court hearings, primarily to stop Maurice either driving his car or flying his aircraft.

At around this time Maurice was approached to do one flight from the Continent for a mere £100,000. Having the experience to first pilot and then leave a perfectly serviceable aircraft at two thousand feet, in the dead of night, to delivery whatever appeared not a problem. Maurice reported the incident where others would have found it more prudent to have not.

Whilst sewing mail bags in Dorchester prison, he was again approached to do a drug-run, for similar money. Maurice was now wising up to the real world and so told no-one.

Whilst in Guernsey, Maurice was again approached, wined and dined, to no avail, as Maurice had the measure of the Guernsey police by now.

1979. Maurice was about to sit both his Air Transport Pilot’s and Flying Instructors exams but the authorities had other ideas. He is jailed for six months for flying an aircraft whilst drunk, when he was neither drunk nor the pilot. The latter, in the left hand seat and logging the hours, was visited at 10 at night by two burly ex-Metropolitan Police, for the CAA Investigation Branch, who threatened his licence if he does not turn ‘Queen’s evidence’.

What travesty then followed in Bournemouth Crown Court Maurice refuses to leave alone. Being unable to brief his barrister, whilst ‘on the hoof’, on the relevant aspects of flight safety, as prosecution evidence went seriously adrift, due to ignorance, Maurice being the only commercial pilot in the room but locked in dock could not communicate. A far different account, therefore, emerged on what really went on during that wet and windy night across the Channel from Brittany, in the depths of winter. Maurice never used a barrister again.

1981. The Guernsey ‘experience’ of over ten years with their total disregard for basic human rights, as a tax haven, is far too long to recount just now, but Maurice’s twenty-one times in jail, for example, with some fifteen or sixteen cases then dropped, a few days later each time, knowing Maurice’s team of lawyers in Taunton had no ‘right of audience’ to claim compensation, might indicate to the reader the malice generated.

Enough of storytelling, just to explain the reasons as to why three British police forces have colluded to pervert the course of justice.

Maurice and his helpers may never see the day, but the rule of law will finally prevail and ‘truth will out’.

I am writing to you in connection with Mr Maurice Kirk, currently serving a prison sentence at the States prison, Guernsey. I appeal to you on humanitarian grounds and in the interests of justice to use your powers under section 26 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1961, to transfer Mr Kirk to a mainland prison for the remainder of his sentence.

The prison governor has freely admitted that the building and staff are incapable of providing Mr Kirk with minimum standards expected by a court. Mr Kirk is kept in solitary confinement. All his mail is censored, thus denying him confidential communication with his solicitors in England. In addition numerous letters to his solicitors and MP's have been confiscated due to what the prison has described as "of indeterminate length".

As a result of what Mr Kirk sees as prejudice, his health is deteriorating and you will know that he has spent much of the past few months on hunger strike. In addition he claims that medical attention has been refused him from 3 separate practices on the island. These factors have contributed to a great strain on Mr Kirk's wife.

According to people who have met the Kirks, both are close to breakdown and see transfer to a mainland jail as the only hope.

You are aware of my criticisms of the islands and of their constitutional relationship with the U.K. Please appreciate that my appeal to you for an urgent transfer for Mr Kirk has no direct link with these criticisms. It is on humanitarian grounds and in order to ensure Mr Kirk a fair hearing.

I am now able to reply to your letter of 11th July to David Waddington with which you enclosed this one from Mr Maurice J Kirk in connection with his recent legal proceedings in Guernsey. I should say at the outset that since you wrote, Mr Kirk has been convicted on a charge of contempt and sentenced to a term of eight months imprisonment. I understand that he has lodged an appeal against conviction and sentence.

As you are aware, Guernsey is not part of the United Kingdom but a dependent territory of the British Crown, which, in general, is responsible for its own domestic affairs. The administration of justice in Guernsey is, by constitutional convention, wholly within the competence of the Insular authorities and it would therefore be inappropriate for the home secretary to seek to intervene in individual cases.

I am however assured by the Guernsey authorities that in accordance with established procedure in Guernsey, Mr Kirk was given the opportunity to select an advocate for his defence, but I understand that he took the somewhat unusual course of selecting one from the 27 offered by picking a name from a hat.

Mr Kirk subsequently indicated that he did not wish the advocate to represent him and made no attempt to engage the services of another.

With regard to Mr Kirk's claims that he was denied access to law books and facilities for the preparation of his defence, I understand that the Guernsey prison authorities responded to all his requests for books, but that not all of these requests were available. They do not accept that he was denied any reasonable facilities for which provision is made in the prison (Administration) Ordinance 1959.

2) False information was given to the jurats before sentencing by Day, the solicitor-general, concerning time on remand thereby affecting my release date. This could be notified without further delay.

3) A charge of OVER 17 MONTHS AGO against me will not be brought to court because the evidence will expose the conspiracy of the authorities and others to sell my building and contents in 1983.

4) The various authorities will not answer letters and supply transcripts and tapes of hearings - ALL PUBLIC DOCUMENTS.

ANY OTHER PRISONER WOULD BE ON PAROLE AFTER SUCH AN INJURY CAUSING HOSPITALISATION.

Guernsey guards its secrets of year under Nazi rule

Attempts to show the people of Guernsey how islanders collaborated with the *** have been thwarted.

Nick Cohen reports

Fifty years after the German invasion of the Channel Islands, Guernsey's main public hall has refused to stage an account of how the island's wartime leaders helped send three Jewish women to their deaths.

The decisions to deny a venue to Theresa, by Julia Pascal, has led to accusations that the island wants to hide from its history.

For the play is not only a critically acclaimed piece of theatre, but a chronicle based on documents from the occupation, which Ms Pascal was shown by ‘islanders with a conscience'.

Included in the archives which are closed to the public, were letters to the German Feldkommandantur from Victor Carey, Guernsey's senior wartime administrator. They detail how local officials gave the Germans information on Jewish refugees, cross examined others who were suspected of not being from ‘pure Aryan Stock' and seized the property of those who fled when the Germans came.

Last week the association controlling the St James concert hall in St Peter Port rejected an attempt by Maurice Kirk, a local vet, to book the theatre for two nights. Kirstin Simon, the association's director, said ‘All I can say is that the committee did not think it was appropriate to accept the booking. People from the mainland don't understand. It's a very, very, delicate subject.'

Ms Pascal said yesterday that she was angered by the decision but not surprised. ‘I was met by a wall of silence when I went to Guernsey. The archives were closed and people didn't want to talk about what had happened'.

She believes that one reason for the refusal is that emphasis she places on Carey's role.

When collaboration on Guernsey has been discussed, attention has concentrated on Chief Inspector William Sculpher, head of the island's police force during the war. He was a London policeman nicknamed ‘Parson Joe' who ponderously obeyed the orders of his superiors, until he was sent to an internment camp by the Germans, possibly for stealing rations.

Carey, by contrast, was an islander and member of what is still, a leading political family on Guernsey. The son of a major general, he was a barrister and member of the Channel Islands Yacht Club, who rose to become Bailiff - president of the Guernsey legislature, the States - from 1935 to 1946.

After the fall of France in June 1940, the Channel Islands were indefensible. Officials left to contend with the German occupation had the choice of resigning and facing possible punishment of serving their new masters.

Carey stayed in his post and, as the documents show, helped implement one of the Nazi's first demands that the Island's parliament accept German anti-semitic legislation and identify all Jews.

On 29 October 1940, Carey told the Feldkommandantur

‘Regarding the registration of Jews, I have the honour to report that the Order which accompanied your letter was communicated to the Royal Court, .. (where it) was registered and published. I can assure you there will be no delay, in so far as I am concerned, in furnishing you with the information you require. I have the honour, Sir, to be your obedient servant, Victor Carey.'

There were only a few people on Guernsey to furnish information on. Theresa Steiner was one.

She fled from Vienna when she was 22 after the Nazi take-over of Austria in 1938 and became a nanny with a Kent family. When war broke out, Miss Steiner and the children were sent to the Channel Islands.

As an Austrian, Miss Steiner was technically an enemy alien and she was obliged to hand her passport to Sculpher. 8 weeks before the invasion, islanders who knew her, have alleged she begged the policeman to allow her to leave for England. He refused and she was sent to work as a nurse. By 25 November, Sculpher had given Carey the names and addresses of five Jewish women on Guernsey and investigated many others.

Meanwhile other sections of the island's bureaucracy were enforcing fresh legislation. Carey was able to tell the Feldkommandantur Boosch on 4 December that Guernsey's Custodian of Business and Industry had seized an underclothing business abandoned by a woman.

On 17 June 1941 Carey told the Feldkommandantur that he ‘had the honour' of ensuring that a third measure against the Jews, the severest yet, had been registered and published in the local newspaper. It described those whom the Germans deemed Jewish and said they should be sacked by their employers.

A year later the Germans sent Theresa Steiner and two other refugees - Auguste Spitz and Marianne Grunfeld - from Guernsey to the Auschwitz concentration camp. She was 26 when she was gassed.

Carey was knighted in 1945 for his services during the occupation . He died in 1957 aged 86.

The Channel Islands' prosperity was founded on piracy and in particular against English merchantmen. After the war, Sir Winston Churchill swore never to set foot on this island, because of the collaboration of the island administration with the enemy. The UK tax-payers subsidise the Channel Islands for millions of pounds every year unbeknown to either. The indigenous section of the Guernsey community has suffered appalling injustices under an oligarchy driven by avarice, the control of which is held by just a few interbred families who will stop at nothing to retain the local people as serfs and exploit other British subjects who choose to come and live on this British Island.

HM Government, ultimately responsible for the administration of the Channel Islands, allows the banks of multinational companies to use the islands for tax avoidance if not evasion, in return for their support, with no benefit, to either the UK taxpayer or Guernsey resident not with the ‘chosen few'. The judicial system in Guernsey and possibly Jersey, is incestuously inter-twined with the executive in both the UK and Channel Islands to maintain the status quo.

As an Englishman perusing my right through the court for what is lawfully mine, I specifically asked that my partnership swindle, instigated by corrupt local lawyers, who ran a cartel, go before an impartial tribunal (as per Article 6 of the European Charter for Human Rights) but what have you done?

You tell me today you have handed my applications to the Court of Appeal concerning my partnership swindle to the only Court of Appeal judge residing this week who has strong Channel Island ‘connections'.

My letter to you of 1 March 1990 stated that even though visiting Court of Appeal judges are subjected to the disgusting track record this island has of corruption and that they have to keep their mouths shut because that are on some form of penance with the promises of promotion later in the real world, I ask that you remove the papers immediately from Sir Godfrey Le Quesne and place them before an apparent independent visiting QC (QC meaning Queens Council not Quaintly Corrupt) as is the meaning of the letters of the reject attorneys De Vic Carey and Day, the prosecution of Guernsey who help vote on the permanent jury.
