Breton cidre in abundance, of course, drunk delicately out of the local small wide cups that seems to stretch the bottle!</p> <p>A lemon sorbet to clear 'le gout' followed, English style, with the pudding before the cheeses. Cheating here, a quick trek in the snow to the bakery for an assortment of the Brittany's finest tarts and vast assortments of other pastries. Then, I thought, a blue cheese from Le Massive Centrale (matching, almost, any Stilton or Blue Vinny) or a slice off the 'steart end', onlySomerset people know what that means, of a Brie or Camembert left in the warm (bottom of my bed) for a week. Apre deux heures j'ai vu, dans le brouillard, nuage, une phare,.Je pense c'est le Cap de le Hague a cote d' Aurigny (Alderney) mais  il y  a un petit soleil ......Apres deux minute avec le compass casse (les grand pirouette)  je pense! Ah, c'est la phare a gauche de Cherbourg.
